I will. :) The doctor said Max could have the doggy equivalent of a cold (and that this a source of debate about whether or not is possible for a dog), or he could have swallowed something that irritated his throat. I'm not explaining this as well as he did, but he did not mention allergies.

Sending good thoughts to Mr. Max. Part of me wouldn't be surprised if there was a doggie cold going around...bc the human colds going around are just awful here in AZ! Keep us posted on the little punkin' butt. :)

Awh Kristin.. Maxman still swallowing hard after barking. Ummmm. Esophageal spasms might cause this. What about after eating? Does he have hard swallowing then?

Just wanted to offer what ever help and support I can. Hugsssss to you and Max ((( ))))

Thank you Gail. :) He eats and swallows without problem, even his hard kibble. It's just the barking that triggers the swallowing and gulping, and he sounds like he is phlegmy when he does it.

I am saddened to read that Max is having problems with his throat again. I hope that it heals quickly and that your boy is feeling back to his wonderful self very soon.

Checking back I was sad to see he\'s had more trouble. I sure hope the simple treatment does the trick and he stays fine after that. He\'s still in my prayers and hoping he\'s back to himself very, very soon.
