| Oh, yes, if he does it alot, I would take him to the vet. And take a video with you of him doing it.

| Definitely reversed sneezing. My King Charles Cavalier did it all the time. The first time it darn near scared the life out of me. I called the vet and she listened to him doing it and that is what she said it was. She instructed me to cover his nose to block the airway and it would stop and it worked. With my Bella she has done it also, when she gets very excited or after drinking water too quickly. Next time it happens try taking your hand and holding it over the nose, it worked for me. |

| Like yorkietalkjilly said, if he does it a lot, I think he should be seen by a vet. Is there a way to let the vet see the video also? Since it gets triggered by excitement & he also does it in the middle of the night, I'd be worried that it's something else other than reverse sneezing. Good Luck to your pup & hope to hear good news.

| If he does it a lot I would take him to the vet. If he only does it on occasion and it's mostly when he is excited or just drank water I wouldn't worry. Georgie does it as well and it seems very common. I blow at Georgie's face (well his nose) to get him to stop. That works well. I watched the video and can totally relate to it Georgie does the same thing and I was so worried. Thank God for YT

| I noticed Betty Boop was reverse sneezing after she drank water. Someone on YT suggested I place her water bowl on the floor. I had both her food and water bowl raised off the floor. She no longer does it after she drinks water. She only seems to do it when she gets excited.
