| I'm so happy Mickey is doing well, acting like nothing happened. He is very lucky to have a mommy who got him to the ER and took care of him.

| Thanks everyone! I was SO scared! Mostly afterward when I did not have to be calm for him I know this may sound strange but Max (my Morkie) is a liter "runt". He has always had issues so I expect things to be "wrong" with him in the future or for him to be sick. But Mickey! This was such a freak accident for a healthy dog. I never saw it coming. He has had dozens of bullies with no issues ever. What are you giving them instead of Bully Sticks if you gave them up? LadyJane suggested Nylabones but the boys will only chase them like a toy. No chewing on them. I have been putting mini treat bones in their Kongs but if I keep this up they are gonna ge fat. Any special treat balls, bones, toys, something that keeps the treats away or anything you give them so they can get the chewing action they need in? Thanks

| Also, Mickey is going in to his vet on Wed for a re-blood test. His kidney level (?) was a bit higher than normal they said before they did the endoscopy of the bully stick. They did a blood test before surgery. So I am taking him in to see if it was a one time "thing". I hope there is nothing wrong. His blood work at physicals has always been good.

| I pray Mickey's test returns good news. I wish there was something I could safely give my boys to chew. I give them CET chews, and I hold them while the guys work on them. Still, Max managed to rip his out of my hand and swallow it whole (they turn into something like a wet potato chip when they are chewed). I stayed up all night watching over him.
