| My poor baby! Chicken bones! Lola got into left over hot wings. She started throwing up bone splinters this morning so I rushed her straight to the vet. He thinks she's gonna pass them ok, he gave her some medicine to help stomach upset so she doesn't keep throwing up. He said throwing up splinters is worse than passing them. He said if she continues to throw up or starts it again tomorrow to rush her back. I hope shes ok I'm sooooo upset about it. I feel like its my fault.

| Saying a prayer for Lola... two of my girls have found chicken bones on their walks... and I, like a crazy person, dive into their mouths to retrieve them, which, so far, I have been successful at doing, and I haven't been bit. They did not want to let go either. I may start walking them with muzzles on, lol. Hope your baby recovers quickly, with no further incidents.

| If I know one thing about Yorkies, its that they are always plotting. My little man can be so sneaky, the second my back is turned he is doing something he knows is forbidden. Its almost impossible to watch any dog (or child) 24/7. Having him tethered to you all day or crate confined is no way to live. You did the absolute best thing, you rushed your baby to the vet and are taking all necessary follow up steps. Sorry the two of you are going through this. Speedy recovery for your little stinker and your nerves. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | So sorry, the smell of chicken bones would be irresistible. I hope you can get a covered trash container, or put the trash in a cabinet. Once they learn that there are goodies inside, they are relentless in trying to get them. Did vet say anything about giving canned pumpkin?

| Thanks everyone for your kind wishes. I got a few cans of pumpkin and am feeding it to all of my dogs since I figure its better safe than sorry. Lola has been her usual peppy happy self, and I'm treating her to a little bit of retail therapy tomorrow. I think a new toy is in order for her good sport behavior.
