I want to get off surgery express train
Gilmore had his second luxating patella surgery Thursday. He had his other one when he was 9 months last Thanksgiving. When all is done he will have been crated for a total of 6 months over the course of a year and a half.
Skittles my Yorkiepoo became paralyzed out of the blue and had spine surgery in July. The recovery has been tough. He has great days and some not so great days.
I figured for sure I could rest easy. Not !! Last Tuesday I noticed Gilmore hopping. I knew right away what it was and was just sick inside. By the next day he was crying when it happened so I wasn't going to waste any time. He had his surgery Thursday and came home on Saturday. He is at least now on his road to recovery.
I am not looking foward to another 3 months of confinement !!!!! Reading all my prior posts from his previous surgery and Skittles surgery is comforting to me. Having this awesome soft collar from HotRod's mom is a lifesaver. Knowing I did it before makes it a little easier.
But it still sucks !!!!!!! Hope I can say sucks.

I'm so sorry this is all hitting you so hard and fast! With your past experience with LP and surgeries, it will make it somewhat easier for you. I can't imagine having to ever go through crating and rehabilitation. Let us know how they are doing.
