| Something is wrong with Sadie Hi everyone I am asking for prayers and some answers. I just got back from the emergency hospital with Sadie. Let me try to explain what is going on. We went and did all are errands today so she was with me all day. When we got home I let the dogs out, under my watchful eye, they came in and I went about putting groceries away and doing household chores. I was taking a break sitting in the office with DH and Sadie wanted me, I picked her up and she was shaking so I though she was cold and put her sweater on her, she was still shaking and then proceeded to try and crawl up on my shoulder like she was in some kind of pain. DH took her for a minute and she started whining. I held her for a few more minutes and then she seemed ok, tired , but ok. My 13 year old grand daughter came running down the steps from her bedroom screaming Mom something is wrong with Sadie. I guess Sadie went up there with her when she was fixing her hair. She said she ran under the bed, came out and went round and round in circles and then started whining. I quick snatched her up and took off to the hospital with her

| Sadie continued The vet checked her out real good , made me walk her and run her because he was worried about brain damage or something like that. Then he told me he thinks she is having seizures. I told him how her back legs were swollen ( now it is only one leg) and how she was acting like she just could not get comfortable. He still seems to think she is having seizures and I seem to think there is something else going on. He said to take her home, with pain meds, and take her to her vet Monday morning. She needs blood work and all kinds of other tests that he told me would cost me way over 1000 dollars if he did it. He did say if she gets worse to bring her back tonight and they would not charge me another er fee. She is laying on the couch now asleep, I think the pain meds kicked in. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on. I can not wait till Monday.

| The vet could find nothing wrong, no temp, no bad ears or throat, lungs and heart sounded great he said. She is walking fine and running fine. He did say that a big concern is that she seems so lifeless. She is very tired and that was before the pain pills. I am just so upset. Sadie is my baby girl and it is killing me to see her like this.

| I'm sorry, I don't have any ideas on what is going. But I want to say, so sorry you both are going through this, I know how very worried you are. Sending prayers and positive thoughts for sweet Sadie's well being.

| Sadie is going to be two but she gets her anal gland done everytime she gets groomed. I do thinks he checked them as he was back there pushing around but would this cause her legs to swell?

| Yes it did and when Sadie was pregnant she was limping a little so I took her to the vet and he said she had a torn acl but it did not need surgery it would heal on its own. I am wondering if that is whats wrong. But why would both legs swell at first, it is almost like her leg is cramping cause if I rub it for her she calms down.

| Could she have stepped on something outside that might be stuck in one of her pads?

| I'm so sorry to hear that Sadie isn't feeling well. I'm praying for her and you too and hopefully the vet will be able to give you a diagnosis and a treatment and she will feel better soon. Sending hugs to you both. |
