YT 1000 Club Member | Still waiting for an update please. I hope that Reecy has not been put down (as his owner/OP was planning to do so) -- this would be a terrible ending for this baby.

| I hope that Reecy can be taken into a rescue where he gets the vet care he needs... Hopefully we will get an update soon!

| I am so sorry it has taken me this long to update everyone! It's been a little or a lot crazy!! Reecy appears to be doing better according to her owner. I have went to see her and the biggest issue she is having is keeping him calm and still so he doesn't further injure himself. It appears that he may have been attacked by a bigger dog instead of fallen. I guess that will never be determined now. The owner is doing what my vet told her to do if she wasn't going to bring her in and it is as follows, make sure she eats and drinks, wrap him up in an ace bandage, keep giving him his pain meds and if he won't calm down give him benadryl to rest. Limited activity for several weeks until his rib can heal. Right now she is acting much better. Please keep her in your prayers. I'll keep everyone updated. Thank you so much for your support and prayers, if you have any advise or if anyone has access to a vet and can let us know if this sounds like good advise please let me know. I do trust my vet and I believe that he knows what he is doing. He has never steered me wrong in the past and he is looking a lot better. |
