He was running and playing yesterday. This is just so sad, but I suppose it is better than to have suffered for a long time.

I am just seeing this and I am so very sorry. I cannot imagine having a foster and loving him unconditionally knowing that his time could be limited.

Yes, it is tragic. I got up this morning with him on my mind. The only consolation we have is that he was SO loved by Valerie and her family. Even her little female yorkie who does not like other pups was nice to him.

On another note: I had taken him to visit a friend's mother who was in the hospital back in October...smuggled him in ... it really brightened her day. She passed away two weeks later...I hope they are together now.

In Cowboy's short life he touched a lot of hearts. He is at peace now...while we wish he had had a longer life...I take comfort in knowing his life was full of love.

aaaww this is so sad. i am so very sorry to hear of sweet little cowboy's passing. i too am so happy that he was loved so much and had a great life even though it was way too short. thank you ladyjane and lolasmom for doing everything possible for this little baby and always giving him your very best. you will be in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. rip handsome little cowboy
