My Pixie was 2 when she lost complete use of her back legs, she was diagnosed with severe LP and her kneecaps were twisted and on the insides of her legs. I forget the name of the surgery she has but it involved cutting the bones off her leg then straightening then, pinnin them back in place then pinning her kneecaps back where they were supposed to be, then she had the LP surgery. She did very well, she had both legs done at the same time, then 2 weeks later had to have one redone as the surgery did not work the first time.

Hope Chloe does as well as she did!!

Glad to hear that Chloe is out of surgery and that it went well.
I know you can't wait to get her home. Then comes the hard part of keeping still for her recovery.

Youre absolutely right! I'm very anxious to get her home. The surgeon encourages walking on it ASAP but she's so playful... Its going to be a quite the challenge keeping her still...

I'm just thrilled that the surgery was a success for Baby Chloe. Uncle Teddy said he wants Chloe to come over to play as soon as she is allowed. He is very lazy, so he will be fine with snuggling on the cloud 9 with her if that is all she can do

She looks like a little doll!! So glad to hear that her surgery is over and she is home resting. Lots of love and kisses for her during her recovery. I am happy for both of you that she is home.

That picture is heartbreaking...it is so hard to see them go through such things.
