Poor baby girl wants to claim her one valuable asset LadyJane! If she had to fight for her place and resources with the previous owner's dogs maybe you need to have a behaviorist in to help her be a better family member? I will definitely help contribute to her retraining fund if you feel it would be in her best interest.

It's hard to say. I would guess that she is jealous and it is possessiveness.:)

I don't think it is really bizarre behavior. Just commenting on her was all....I am sure I can handle it....or hope so. :) She is a sweetheart. Thank you for caring!

That's what I was wondering. If she thinks she has found heaven w you, LJ, and she thinks it's worth fighting for. I can imagine she has never been treated this well in her life. Poor little thing.

I understand completely and I believe in you LadyJane 100%. I can only imagine how special you are to her. She is feeling more comfortable now and voicing her opinions. I think it is great that she has spunk. Sweet and spirited Summer!

Summer is getting to be a bit weird with other dogs. Part of it is because she is very attached to me I believe and is possessive...but I am a bit wary of her now with other pups. I belong to enough pups! :D Summer is a sweetie, but needs her own home at some point. For now, I am happy to be someone she is attached to. She deserves nothing but the very best.

Just got her blood work results....all normal except for her glucose which is a bit low. Just going to start feeding her more frequently for now. I was SO excited to hear that her white count is now normal! :)

:cheer: Wonderful news!!!! Wahoo! :cheer: Way to go Summer!! We know that you will find that perfect home for her Linda. We all want to see her get all the special love and attention she deserves. But you are her saving grace and she knows it. She will love you forever. I would love to take that sweet baby. But DH says he will "kill" me if I bring another animal home! :D:p:rolleyes: Or another cloud 9 bed! Ha ha. :p
