:cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer: Yea for Summer and Ladyjane for taking such great care of her. |
Summer has an appointment with the vet this morning...hopefully her sutures will be removed. She is doing really well if you judge by her attitude. She loves to run outside. :) And...loves to eat! :) I will update later on! |

She sounds just like me! Well, the eating part anyway. Hope the bisit to the vet goes well. |
Thank you for the adorable update. Summer sounds like a doll :) |
I hope she does get her sutures out. It sounds like Summer is blooming in your care.:rose40: |
All of the sutures are out! She does have one small area that is a bit infected, but it appears to be superficial so I am to apply Bactroban twice daily. She had a chest xray done and her lungs are clear! They did blood work ... will get those results tomorrow. Summer is getting to be a bit weird with other dogs. Part of it is because she is very attached to me I believe and is possessive...but I am a bit wary of her now with other pups. She growled at a couple of pups at the vet today. She has had a couple of squabbles with a couple of my pups lately. I separate her whenever I leave the house...hate to do it, but better safe than sorry. I need to figure out if it is just possessiveness or if she is just one of those pups that has issues with other pups. It honestly would not surprise me given the nature of her injuries...but I don't want to assume it was her fault. I have honestly been amazed at her passiveness up until now. |
This is great news that she is healing. Sounds like she must be feeling better if she is growling at other dogs. I think considering what she has been through you are right about not leaving her with the other dogs. Continued prayers for Summer and Praise to you for the wonderful care you give these babies. |
YEAH glad her stitches are out. I also believe that what she has been thru, she so remembers it all. Now that she is feeling better, it's like she may be making sure she isn't ever going to go thru that again. Poor Baby. I do agree that she should be seperated when you leave. Prayers still continue for Summer. |

Glad she is feeling better. Would love to see her running around with the other pups. If you have a chance and can take a picture of that, it would be great to see. |

My two little girls can get kind of rough play fighting and then next thing you know they're NOT playing and they do not have her past experiences. These guys are terriers after all.:animal36 |

Just takes one little thing to set them off. |

hehehe isn't that the truth. Josie gets that way towards Jack sometimes. She can be mean. It normally lasts a second but she goes in time out. She thinks she is the only one who should get my attention. |
Yeah, and poor Summer may have not been shown much love in her past so it is doubly hard for her to understand the sharing of attention. |
