I'm just now reading this and glad I already had dinner as this all makes me want to lose my lunch! EWWWWW! YUCK! All right... now that I got that out of my system, thank you for sharing this disgusting story as it really is important for us all to know and be aware of no matter how gross it is and no matter how much i wish I didn't have to worry about these kinds of things. I'm so glad Jersey is ok and you have gotten rid of that nasty thing! |
Jersey update I woke up this AM to find Jersey with his e-collar off and he was having a licking party:eek: So off to the vet, thankfully no damage done and the drain was removed. Stitches will come out on Tuesday |

Okay, just now seeing this thread..... SO glad you listened to your instincts and got it taken care of quickly. I've heard of bot fly larvae but never really thought much of it. So of course because I am not at all affected by gruesome images, I looked it up on youtube. There are crazies on there who remove them from their own bodies.... without the help of a dr.!! Wow! Pretty freaky lookin' critters! |
We have bot flies here apparently. GROSS! I hope your puppy is doing better. |
