Honestly, no- these things need to be said. Because this isn't a case of "things could have been done different"- this is blatant neglect and disregard for a living being- and she is already looking to add another Yorkie in a few weeks. No time to rush a seriously injured dog to the vet? Will there be time to potty train? take the dog for shots? socialization? etc. etc. etc.

All of you do not know of my life or the heart ache that I have had. When I took her to the vet was told she had traumatic shock what did i know i trusted the vet. It was an accident that she ran into the road and when ALL of you live in my shoes then you can find fault with me. I loved Elizabeth dearly. I maybe could have handled things differently but this can not be changed. Rest in peace my sweet baby

I feel that if you loved her dearly, you wouldnt have left her alone to die in pain by herself. Do you know how scared she probably was and in how much pain she was in? This just makes me sick. How could anyone let there poor defenseless animal suffer and die alone!

If work comes before an emergency, then please do not get another yorkie. It would be a disservice to that yorkie.

Work kept you from getting proper medical care for Elizabeth? After she was 'impacted' (hit) by a car? Terribly cruel and sad. There are some things I should not read, this is one of them.

On Sunday my baby Elizabeth Victoria broke away from me and ran in the street and she hit the fender of a moving car. She was thrown a little and rolled and laid in the street. My daughter got to her 1st and picked her up, had an abraison on the inside of her leg. Was scared but nothing was broken, thank the Good Lord. She is only 13 months and VERY active. Her just laying there is not like her. Is this normal after such a accident such as this? I lost my husband 2 years ago and last fall I adopted her from a rescue group. Elizabeth has put activity in my life after my husbands passing. I can't have any thing happen to her. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

According to your post, you watched her impact a car, took her for a WALK, and didn't get her vet care until 2 days later! So yeah, you took her to the vet, but not when you should have.

Yeah, accidents happen, but guess what? There are certain things you should do when accidents happen. It was an accident she ran into the road, it was NOT an accident she didn't get appropriate medical attention after the fact. That is all on you.

No, I don't know your life, but let me tell you something. EVERYONE has experienced tough things and heartache in their lives. THAT IS STILL NO EXCUSE FOR NOT GETTING YOUR PUP THE MEDICAL CARE IT NEEDS. Therefore, I can find fault with you now.

That poor poor baby. I am not an expert on anything but even I would think internal injury and bleeding from black stools. What on earth was that vet thinking? Just to let her go with no x-rays or nothing and then walked right after her accident???? almost makes me want to throw up. RIP little baby, you are now out of all your pain.
