How scary! I'm glad you were quick on your feet and were able to cut his collar.

Thanks again for all of your good wishes and thoughts. Zach is sleeping here on my bed with his brother Oliver and his sister Zoe and when I close my eyes I can still see Zach's face and I reach for him and kiss and hug him. Zach looks at me as if to say 'what's your problem, I was trying to sleep".

OMG I am so sorry this happened. Glad everything is OK. That is my biggest fear with collars on these little ones.

Just a fast update on Zach. He came back with a great report. No fluids and the heart although a bit enlarged is not a threat to him. The vet is sure that will improve and although he still has be be watched for another couple of weeks the vet says he's fine. She said if it weren't for the fact that he's a yorkie she wouldn't think twice about his slight enlargement.

Wow, I'm sure Zach & Zoe were so scared not knowing what the heck was happening...poor babies! Thank goodness to your quick action, you were able to prevent a tragic ending

As far as the collar situation, I always had that fear of my babies getting out so I left their ID tags on their collar but after this I said it's not worth the risk I cried all night when I thought of what could have happen
One more thing I have to say. There is no feeling like when you think your baby is dead and all of a sudden he comes back to life and starts kissing you all over like he's saying "Thank you for saving me mommy, I love you"

AWWW...that is touching!! He is so thankful and was showing you too!! How sweet is that moment!!! Im so happy everything turned out to be ok!!!
