| Callie has an unhappy tummy Alright I have two questions/ things I need opinions on. First thing is Callie stomach has not being acting right these past few days its been making loud noises and seems maybe a tiny bit bigger then normal there is no pain when I slightly put pressure on it, she is pooing fine its normal too, been eating mostly normal maybe a tiny bit less and shes been drinking, she has been sleeping a bit more then normal, and up until 30 minutes ago there was no throwing up but after she threw up her gums where very pale but I got some sugar into her and her gums are not pale anymore and she seems to be doing ok at the moment. Any opinions on what could be wrong with her little tummy and what I can do to help it? Also I thought her tummy was doing better last night so I gave her, her intercepter about 12 hours ago do you think it go absorbed and everything? Thanks in advance for any help.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I wonder if she could have eaten something she's not supposed to eat? My son's dog ate a cotton ball, and he was displaying some of the same symptoms. The ball didn't cause an obstruction, but aggravated his stomach. They took him in for x-rays and the doctor found a ball object, but later they found out it was just a cotton ball. The pale gums would scare me, have you taken the temperature? Hope someone else can give you better advice.

| Poor Callie. It seems a lot of pups are having tummy issues lately. How much did she throw up, what was it's consistency? Unsure about the Interceptor. So how long after she took the pill did she puke? I'm not going to 'advise' this because I am not a vet and have no idea if it's the proper thing to do in your situation, but many give their dogs Pepto Bismol for upset tummies or Pepcid. I hope her stomach is just bothering her a bit and it blows over soon.

| Hypoglycemia every 2 months in an adult is a big problem. What if it happens when you are sleeping? How often do you feed and what time of day does it usually happen? When was the last thorough bloodwork done?

| I free feed her because she is a picker and when she is playing she stops and goes and grabs a few bites of food and then comes back to play. I get very worried about the hypoglycemia episodes but I honestly have no idea what to do about it. Normally it only happens when she has been stressed, very active or not eaten for a while and its never been like a certain time of day I try my best to prevent against it. Her last blood work was 11 months ago she is due for her yearly check up with blood work and fecal and stuff at the very beginning of September.

| Callie did better today more active and not sleeping as much as she was. Her tummy is still making noises but she took a really really big poo this morning so I am hoping that made her feels so much better. I am not giving her treats and bones for a few days except for her bully stick to see how it goes.
