Welcome to YT. As you see you will get many opinions and sometimes opposite advice. I say follow your Vets advice. They actually have hands on exam of the puppy and are supposed to know more than we do. I see red flags though when I get the same advice from older more experienced members. I have a great respect for them. Sometimes they speak quite bluntly and feelings can be hurt. But better to have hurt feelings and a living puppy. ShaftSlinger, welcome to YorkieTalk. I am so sorry for the scare your little guy put you thru last night.

These little ones can be very willful wigglers, and as you have seen everybody needs to learn to have a safe grip on them. Make sure if you let others hold him that they hold safely too, and it is best to do that sitting down.

I want to commend you for taking him to the vet quickly rather than waiting. I know it's hard to do that when it is night, it's expensive, and you "hope" things will be ok; but time is of the essence if there truly is a problem.

When things settle down, we hope you'll show us pictures and share more about little drama king.

No one is ignorant for choosing conventional medicine over a chiropractor. Some simply don't believe in the holistic subjectivity and lack of science of these "alternative" resources.

No one is bashing you. If the OP wants to take her dog to a chiropractor she will. If she wants to PM you, she will. Everyone has different opinions. This conversation gets so old each time

You are rite it does get old and so does the one way street that a few here can talk down to others and now apparently you can't post a definition on YT as mine has been removed. It was Not posted in bad conscience so I don't see any reason for it to have been removed. Do you ? It was not something I made up, it was a Truth that came straight from the Dictionary.

I am right and I do believe it was posted in bad conscience. I'm not going to debate with you. The thread is about Hercules...not my feelings.

Knowing Cathy personally she would be the first person I would turn to for an opinion when it came to the medical care I give my three. She goes above and beyond when it come to taking proper care of her pups.

I have to ask~do you even own a dog? I've never seen you post a picture, your avatar is empty, you have no albums and you never posts ta ype of reference to owning a pet. I'm very confused?

I apologize in advance to the OPer of this thread that once again things have been derailed when an injury or neuro issue is involved. I truly hope your little Hercules continues to do well.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Do you see me making light of someone elses post ? NO ! and am sick of having to defend MY Rights. So if you have found a crime here then feel free to call whomever you would like.
I thought that YT was for people to share & help others and I'm a little sick of others being negative about things they know nothing about that could very well help a sick or injured dog. There is info on Chiropractic treatment rite here on YT that I did Not put here, so maybe since everyone thinks is so horrible it should be removed.

Yes, I have 5 dogs & 4 cats and All are special needs, not that any of it is anyones business. Who is Cathy & exactly what does she have to do with any of this ?

I just checked him out and hes laying on the couch with my fiance, they both look to be sleeping quite fine. Herc got up and had his les stuck far out like he was stretching so i pet him and then he laid his head back down and slep again. The vet said you can pay for an xray if you want but im certain its not going to turn up anything. She said it would be a waste of money because theres nothing broken.

She said the good thing about puppies is they are very durable to falls and incidental injuries, they heal fast and can take a lot of punishment though sometimes they are pretty vocal about it.

I think im going to shop for a helmet for him today because we have had him 1 week and this is my 2nd omg wtf do i do moment. The other, he fell down 3 stairs when he decided he was ready for stairs but after the first stair realized he wasnt ready.

Luckily no stairs at my house and ive put pillows all around the couch in case he tries to jump off.

Ah, this takes me back to when Neo was a pup! I wish I'd have known that there is actually a website that has tiny helmets for our babies. I believe it is RockStarPups and they carry all kinds of cute stuff.
We used to have all kinds of OMG/WTF moments at first, but Neo and us survived! Every time something happens, it makes you more aware and cautious and careful. Just keep the vet on speed dial, lol!
