| Thank you ladies for all the positive vibes, prayers and hugs.  Max received an excellent report from the doctor. Eyelid is looking great. No corneal scarring. The doctor and I agreed that any future sign of trouble, I will take Max straight to the specialist either in Richmond or Leesburg.

When I looked in his eye, I saw what I thought was an ulcer. Turned out to be a little hair or a fuzzy that landed in the exact spot of the recurring ulcer (the high point of the cornea). Whew. His eyelid is nice and pink and smooth, and the white of his eye is clear. I think the eyelid took a long time to fully recover from the laser surgery. Hopefully, no more problems or we go straight to the ophthalmologist, 50 miles north. I found out they are open 6 days a week for regular visits, and 24 hours a day for emergencies. Isn't that great? A doggy eye ER.
