| madison was also sick this past weekend with diarrhea and vomiting. she had an appt with the vet and was prescribed meds and i was also told to give her 1/4 of a 10mg Pepcid AC pill to help with the upset stomach. maybe you can give her the 1/4 of the pill in the meantime to help with the upset stomach. |

| Hope you are now with your regular vet and they have a diagnoses and he will be feeling better. Our older Yorkie had 2 bouts of Pancreatitis, and there was always some blood in the poop, and the vomit was yellow. Best of luck. |

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Wow good to know that you need lots of cash before you can be seen. Does not seem right. I understand they have bills to pay and all. But they are suppose to care about the animals also I would think. Praying your little one is okay. And you both can get some rest today

YT Addict | You guys rock.....thank you so much for being here, it really helps. Just returned from the vet, they seem to think something did not agre with Gizmo and has thrown his system out of whack. He was given an antibiotic and nausia shot along with both meds to continue here at home. I was also told not to let him eat or drink today only pedialyte several times today. If he is still throwing up by 4 pm this evening they are going to admit him over night for IV fluids. As it stands right now he is finally asleep in the reclyner with me, he has not sat still since about 2:30 am. So hopefully he will get some rest...I'll rest after he is well...lol....I shall keep you guys posted thru-out the day as your support keeps me strong. Cynthia

| Just now seeing this...I am so glad that Gizmo got to see his regular vet this am. I cannot believe the emergency vet turned you away for $100.00 that is so IMO unethical. Could you have written them a check or did they require cash? Sending get well wishes for poor little Gizmo.

I actually offered to write them a check for the balance with the promice to come back later this afternoon with the cash, as I told her it was 4 in the morning so cash was limited at that hour but they do not accept checks. I will find another ER vet to have on stand by, as this clinic was actually the one I had listed all along in case of emergency and it was my first time there. Its ok won't be going back there ever again. Giz is still resting quietly, I cannot seem to wind down at all so just gonna sit here with and stay close to my baby.

| Sounds like Gizmo is going to be ok. Since the ER is the after office hours your vet has listed, did you mention to them what happened? I can't believe they turned you away. I also can't even imagine how you felt especially after driving so far.

You know...as a matter of fact I did not mention the ER visit, so I think I shall call Dr Costello and let him know what happened, and yes after driving for 45 minutes, I was in dis-belief I did say to them...wow you mean no matter how sick the animal is the money comes first...I was very supprised. How can someone that works with animals turn away a sick animal, even if it is policy...as a human being...where is the heart...I could not work under those rules and turn away a sick animal
