| I am so happy she is feeling better! Like Ladyjane said, a neurologist should be seen if she starts losing control again. My girl is paralyzed in her back end because I didn't see a neurologist soon enough. Sometimes, there doesn't have to be an actual INJURY. There have been quite a few yorkies here lately with IVDD (mine included) which is a genetic disorder making discs in the back degenerate, causing pain and sometimes loss of neuro functions. You're doing a great job thinking of how to avoid injury in the future, including jumping on furniture and using stairs (ramps are better for dogs with back problems!).

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Thanks Bonny! Been watching her like a hawk:P And yes, I am going to check in with the specialist anyway. Had to reach in & calm her down rather fast today when I got home as she started jumping around being excited I am home. I let the other dogs outside first so their jumping doesn't get her, then I get her out of the crate. She did her potty break, & claimed the doggy bed closest to me on our return. She now lays with her back legs in normal doggy positions instead of out or back. She's past-due for her bath, but I'll put it on hold for a few weeks. I don't want her trying to jump towards me in the tub like she does. She never liked her baths much, but seems to enjoy the brushing part of it. I think I will worry more if that's possible, when she "thinks" she's better...lol.
