I am so happy she is feeling better! Like Ladyjane said, a neurologist should be seen if she starts losing control again. My girl is paralyzed in her back end because I didn't see a neurologist soon enough.

Sometimes, there doesn't have to be an actual INJURY. There have been quite a few yorkies here lately with IVDD (mine included) which is a genetic disorder making discs in the back degenerate, causing pain and sometimes loss of neuro functions. You're doing a great job thinking of how to avoid injury in the future, including jumping on furniture and using stairs (ramps are better for dogs with back problems!).
