| If you have not already, I would suggest you start a thread of your own in the Sick and Injured Forum about your pup. There are quite a few people on YT who have had experiences with AAI who will help you though this difficult time.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi Glass Shell! Sorry for the delay in responding to your message, we're out of the country right now and I haven't been checking my messages. I'm so sorry to hear that your baby has AAI, but I'm glad that your considering UC Davis they are really good at what they do. Princess Chloe is scheduled to have surgery on 7/11. We went to UC Davis by way of their small animal emergency clinic and our neuro resident veterinarian is Dr. Cora Anwer. She can be reached at 530-752-1393 at the small animal clinic, neurology dept. I will try to check my messages more frequently now to read your updates. I also belong to a group of ladies who have all gone through their journey with their AAI babies, and truly are a blessing giving support to those of us still going through our journey with AAI. They have a group on yahoo called AtlantoaxialInstabilitypups and I'm giving you the email of the contact person of this group,jamiebarrow514@yahoo.com . Send Jamie an email when you can. I will be praying for you and your little baby, in your next update please let me know your little ones name. Naomi & Princess Chloe |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi Michelle & Bella! I'm so glad you got my message and joined our group. I have to say that, I thank God for everyone in our group who have given me support through my journey with Princess Chloe and her AAI condition. Everyones journey is different, so when you get a change read their stories. I hope you got the appointment with UC Davis, I was told that their success rate is excellent with regards to the surgery. Know that you and Bella are in my prayers. Until your next update... Naomi & Princess Chloe |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Princess Chloe's post surgery update Hi Ahmzz! Princess Chloe had her surgery on 7/11 and thank God her recovery is coming along very well. She has so much energy, however her vet. grounded her until her next check up on 8/16. We have her in a large cage with her kennel inside were she sleeps and plays by herself. I'm up to the point now that I can hold her for a few minutes which she loves. Thank you for your support and prayers! Naomi & Princess Chloe |

| I am so glad to hear that Princess Chloe is doing so well. I don't know much about AAI (and hope I never do have to). I hope the hardest part is behind you and Princess Chloe. I'll continue to say prayers for your little Princess.
