				   | honestly I haven't the slightest clue...anytime your dog starts acting unusual...it's always best to get them to the Vet. I would get him in as soon as they open up! If he gets worse...do you have an emergency vet in town you could call? Does your Vet have an answering service that you could call them and get him to call you back?

				   | yah...that's a little scary...because if he ingested something toxic...he won't be able to wait until morning!! It could be fatal...is he still shaking? and trying to get comfortable?

				   | Do you have any nutrical or HONEY on hand?? The only thing I can think of when they shake is that their blood sugar is low...but then you say he cries out when he lays down...did he fall or hurt a leg?? My Tulip pulled a leg muscle a few weeks ago..and she was shaking and wouldn't lay still either....and our vet was closed...of course...anyhow I put her on a heating pad...put it on warm...then gave her baby aspirin...you can give 1 mg. per POUND... twice a day..for short periods of time(you need to crush it and roll it in a small piece of cheese) ...anyhow...by the time my vet office opened up...she was back to normal...not limping or anything!! It might make him more comfortable till your vets office opens up.

				   | I wonder if he may have been spooked by a loud noise or something? My Suzi is scared to death if the fire alarm goes off, she shakes too. She also shakes when I place her on the grooming table. Maybe he saw something new or different that frightened him? I know it takes a while for Suzi to calm down when she gets very scared. However, it still can be something more serious. Calling the vet is a good idea if he's still not acting right.

				   | I think it really sounds like pancreatitis, be careful of that, they usually have a very hard time find a comfortable position? Did your vet give him Sub Q fluids? Did you give him some pepto?
