| Looks normal to me. Some just bruise a bit more than others. Definitely do not put a belly band on him. The incision should be open to air. Just keep that e-collar on. Unless he develops swelling and drainage, I would not be too concerned.

| He was given Rimadyl as a pain medicine but he had diarrhea. I called the vet and the person who answered asked the vet and said not to give him pain med anymore. I have been feeding him boiled chicken and rice. He is also taking an antibiotic. |

| I would think that diarrhea would be from the antibiotic more so than the pain med?

| sorry your little one is feeling like this. Hot Rod had some bruising going on when he was neutered. If the site looks red and angry (like there is oozing) then I would get him back to the vet. Your picture didn't look like that though. Is your little wimpering or anything like that? If so, call the vet back and ask again about the pain meds. I agree, I would think the antibiotic is what is giving him his upset tummy. Is he supposed to be taking it with food? I can't remember but Hot Rod didn't like his and he was supposed to take it with food. It was hard to get him to eat as he wasn't feeling real well. Good luck, hope your little guy starts to feel better soon.

| Thank you. He is doing much better. The bruising is almost gone and it looks like it is healing very well. He is scheduled to get them removed on Tuesday. He hasn't had any puss, swelling(other than what is pictured), or foul smells. |
