| Little plain Yogurt would be ok, and use a tiny pill pocket to get her to take the medicine. If she does not start eating soon, back to the vet. Make sure she is drinking water so she does not become dehydrated. Good luck, and I am sure others here with a lot more knowledge throw out some suggestions. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome. I am sorry your little one is not feeling well. I know you can give them yogurt but I would run it by your vet to be sure she can have it. The main thing is to make sure she is eating and drinking. I usually give mine pills in a little canned food or you can try a little cheese. I hope she feels better soon.

| I'm sorry your puppy isn't feeling well. Will she take the antibiotic hidden in a little piece of cheese or a small bit of chicken? Good luck. Hope she's feeling better soon. |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk. Sorry your pup is sick. Shodan gave great advice. You could also try a little plain, boiled chicken breast, white rice, or plain oatmeal until she will eat her regular food.

| Mine would always pick out any pills. I had to learn to put them down their throats. Always fun!

We always ask the Vet for a liquid for Maxine, and she takes the syringe real easy. My wife gives Max her medicine when she needs it, and I get to give Carlo his. Fortunately, he loves the Large Beef Pill Pockets. I even put his liquid Steroid in one pill woth his Pepcid AC. I tried the old fashioned way, but it got way to stressful and painful, for me. Not a lot of fun putting my hand in his moth or trying to open his jaw. Smart dog, does it just to Pizz me off! However, I am a bit smarter. | |

| Have you tried the pill pockets? They're made by Greenie. I've had the most luck with them. Mine could get the pill out of chicken or cheese but these wrap around them and they can't. My vet suggested the feline ones for mine because they are smaller. He said that it is the same formula - not like feeding your dog cat food.
