YT Addict | Baby Teddi Limping Let me start by saying we have an appointment with our vet in about an hour for this. After playing with Teddi for about 15 minutes (and he likes to play rough) I noticed he was limping a bit when retrieving his squirrel. Not a huge limp but enough to concern us. Please pray for us that it is not anything serious!

| I'm so sorry. They can get hurt so easily - they are so little. Sending thoughts that it will be nothing serious.

| I hope you receive good news at the vet and that Teddi's leg will be okay.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Hopefully it's just a pulled muscle and Teddi will be back to his normal self after a day or two of rest.

YT Addict | Baby Teddi is Fine!! It turns out that our vet thinks it is quite normal. It is not his kneecaps. There is no sign of luxating patella *whew*. Teddi likes to play quite rough (though we try not to let him) and loves to run, run, run - very fast little boy!!! It is actually just growing pains, our vet says. He was showing the most pain in his Humorous (?spelling?), which is the upper part of his leg and when we got him home he was not limping at all and in fact back to running. As we speak my hubby is entertaining him with his favorite fox and his favorite game which is fetch, wait, we throw it, say go, and he runs as fast as he can to retrieve it! They gave us some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory oral suspension which is on an as needed basis. We will discontinue tomorrow as it is once a day, if of course he is still not limping but we are relieved! We are a bit quick to jump the gun sometimes I guess but at least we know now that it is nothing! Thanks everyone for your good wishes!!

| Great news! You weren't jumping the gun. Best to be overly cautious.

But while I have you here...has anyone ever had such a strong willed baby that they actually threw temper tamtrums??? (Not parent ~ pup...lol) Teddi has taken to getting so upset at being in his pen when he doesn't want to be that he throws his bedding around and runs in circles, growling and barking at me! Never experienced this with baby Giz...I know they are all different but...holy...wth?

| When Max was a pup, he threw a tantrum every evening when the sun went down, just like a little kid who didn't want to go to bed. He didn't want the day to end, lol, and he would throw his bed around and bark, zoom, and then he would plop down in his bed for a nap. Teddi just wants out of the pen. He sounds like an energetic pup. I wouldn't worry as long as he seems happy otherwise. Don't scold him. Make light of it with a happy voice and he will outgrow it.

| Awww, glad that Teddi is fine. Wouldn't it be nice if they could talk and tell us what was wrong.
