When Max was a pup, he threw a tantrum every evening when the sun went down, just like a little kid who didn't want to go to bed. He didn't want the day to end, lol, and he would throw his bed around and bark, zoom, and then he would plop down in his bed for a nap.
Teddi just wants out of the pen. He sounds like an energetic pup. I wouldn't worry as long as he seems happy otherwise. Don't scold him. Make light of it with a happy voice and he will outgrow it.
