Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Do you mean he jumped off the couch? and from where on the couch, was it the seat, the back or the arm? If he is not limping I dont think there is anything seriously wrong with the leg so I don't think he needs to go to the emergency vets. If you have an appointment for him tomorrow to get the leg checked out that should be fine. If you notice him limping or you think he may be in pain when walking then call your vet and ask for advice.

| How is he doing now? I'm so sorry that no one was around to help you. I hope you decided to go to the ER vet to see if anything is broken. Please do not let him jump off furniture. These little ones have very delicate bones that can be easily broken. He is so very young at only 7 weeks old and should still be with his momma and litter mates. Please come back with an update.

In that case I would take him to the emergency vets, because he is so young his bones will not have matured and can be very fragile.

| Boy, that brought back memories! We had only had Beemer one week when he saw me walk into a room and tried to jump off my husbands lap. He kind of flipped and landed on the hardwood floor. We immediately ran off to the emergency vet. He was fine but I've always said that he's the one that will give me gray hair!! He's tiny but fearless! I'm so glad that everything turned out ok for you.

| Just saw this, but I'm so glad Ritz is fine. Those close calls simply makes your heart stop, so scary.
