| Runt not eating much Puppies are 2 weeks old and the runt hasn't gained hardly any at all. I took him to the vet on tuesday and started bottle feeding him. He seemed to be doing better but today he acted like he wasn't hungry, when I forced him he acted like I was choking him. |

What are you using to supplement the pup; i.e. replacement supplement and how are you administering it. Never force a pup, as you can cause aspiration. The closests thing to mother's milk is Goat's Milk with equal parts of Distilled water, given at room temperature. Draw the milk up into a syringe that you can use with a cainine preemie nipple. And gently push milk into the syringe.... Also, rub a couple of drops of Nutridrops onto his gums......
