Bad news....his sodium levela are sky high. If we don't admit him to icu right away he will due and it won't be a peaceful passing. Even if he makes it through that he may still have liver, neuro, deaf, blind, etc. They have NO way of knowing anything until his sodium levels are better. That will be several thousand dollars and no idea if he will even recover. I am crying so hard. I don't know what to do. What is most humane? Am I prolonging his suffering, or could he make it? |

Sending lots of postive thoughts to Peyton that is able to pull through with no neurological issues... |
I'm admitting him. I just have to give him every possible chance. Please pray for him. I am so sad. |
He has a chance now. That's all anyone can promise. |

Peyton will be in my prayers. You took him to the best place you could and you made the decision you thought was right at this time. How far are you from the hospital? |

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I will be praying for Peyton and sending thoughts of strength to you. Hugs ))) |
I'm just reading Peyton's story. It's breaking my heart. You're giving the little guy a chance and maybe with the expert care he gets there and the many prayers from all of us, he will make it. Kisses to Peyton and a hug to you.... |
Keeping Peyton in my prayers. You are doing the best you can for him. God bless you. |
Just got home... It was nice to have my sweet Sophia waiting for me with lots of kisses. Whew, that was a lot of crying, and I'm sure I am not done yet, but I do feel a little better. I asked God to help me know what to do and I just knew I couldn't let him go yet. Peyton has had such a rough start, but he is still so sweet and loving. I just felt he deserved all I could do. I just talked to the specialist Dr. that took over his case from the ER. She said they ran a few tests and it did not look like he had liver problems or diabetes. If he makes it through the night and is doing better tomorrow they will check his gastro intestinal system. If that is o.k. Then they will have to look into neurological issues. One thing at a time though...first we have to get his sodium levels right. The Dr. compared it to a big dog being out in the sun during the summer and going days without water. That is how bad his sodium is. Oh, his weight went from 3.2 lbs to 2.8 lbs. I am praying God helps Peyton through this and that He gives the doctors the wisdom they need. |
I do hope sweet Peyton feels better tomorrow and will continue to get better. I'm saying a prayer or even two for him. Please keep us updated.:aimeeyork |
