| Worried about little Peyton...please pray I am so worried for my little Peyton. Just wanted to share with all of you because I know you will understand. I've Posted a few times about Peyton, but haven't felt the need to post here yet. Sadly, I do now. As I type this Peyton is laying on my chest and I often check to make sure he is breathing. I shared that at first we were told he might be deaf, then that we think he might be blind. He has zero energy and has been vomiting. He did it yesterday, this morning, and a little again this evening. He will not play at all. Yesterday morning was the last time he even barely played. I am just so worried. I took him knowing he had at least some special needs. I can deal with deafness or blindness. I just want him to live and be happy. No matter what, I am committed to this sweet angel. I will be there for him no matter what happens. I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow, I just can't wait until Wednesday. By the way, he is 11 weeks old (will be 12 weeks on Monday.). At 10 weeks he weighed 3.2 lbs, not sure what he weighs now.

| I'm sorry to hear about Peyton. I think it's a good idea to not wait, and if he gets worse tonight, please consider taking him to an emergency vet for treatment. Keep us posted.

| Thank you. I certainly will take him right away if he gets worse. All he does is sleep. He did have a bowel movement today, so that is good, right? He must be retaining some nutrition. He eats, then seems disinterested in the food the next time. So, I try a different one. Same thing. I got him to eat some dry food that I broke into tiny pieces tonight. I had to hand feed him. He can't seem to find the food otherwise, not seeing it or smelling it? But he acted very hungry. I'm going on and on, don't mean to, just feel like there is so little I can do, I guess "talking" about it helps. Might try to get some sleep soon. Please pray for him if you can. I feel like he has so much going against him...it's not fair.

| This is going to sound made up, but I promise it is the truth. Peyton was laying in the crook of my arm sound asleep. I started crying for him, and he woke up and started licking my arm. I probably just startled him, but it felt like he was trying to comfort me. See why I love him so much?

| Yes, we totally understand. That is so sweet about him kissing your arm. He is a little angel that you were blessed with to care for. I'm saying prayers for your special angel, Peyton.

| What should I ask vet today? Thank you all so much. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have YT for advice and comfort. I called the vet and he has an appt. for 3:00 today. I am going to ask for the referral to Purdue for his eyes and ears, etc. I feel like I need him tested for liver shunt as well...based on his lethargy and disinterest in food. How can they test for this? Acid bile test? I need to get nutrical for him. I have been giving him a little sugar when I worried about his blood sugar level, but I know nutrical is best. What else do you think I need to ask for? If they don't take this seriously and give me the referral then I have another vet I am going to take him to. This morning Peyton seemed a little more alert. He piddled and walked a little. Had no interest in food or water. I was just praying he would keep down the little he ate last night. So far so good. He is curled up sleeping again on me. Thank you all again for the comfort and prayers. You are all the best. I'll update after visit for sure or if there is any change. God bless you and your little ones too.

| You definitely want the vet to do basic lab work for starters! And, yes, a referral to Purdue sounds like a great idea. Good luck today....will look for your update.

| I don't know what to tell you to ask them, except the basic lab as ladyjane suggested. Tell them what has been going on with him as well as his lack of playfulness or lack of interest in his surroundings, if that is the case. You know what's been going on with him, so just relay what you think is not as you think it should be.
