It has only been 4 weeks since we went through his exploratory surgery. I was holding the bottle of peroxide in my hand thinking...if his stomach lining is raw from the IBD what is this peroxide going to do to it.

He's on my lap right now and he is acting normal. I want it to be tomorrow morning so I know he will be fine.

I think life would be easier if we didn't love them so much. The whole time Kim and I were trying to decide what to do I kept thinking what am I going to do if I lose him. Next to my two daughters, Pippin is my world. Maybe it's because he is so little and acts like velcro. We kid that he is allergic to the floor because he has to be on my lap all the time.We're heading to bed and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Ha ha that's funny, Joey was like that as a puppy, but now he only wants to be held when he wants to be held, he does give me good cuddling at nighttime.

Pippin is doing great today. Thank God it wasn't toxic. It really was a wake up call. You think you are being so careful and all it takes is one mistake.

He spent a lot of the day snuggled on Kim's lap. I told Pippin he needs to get into her stuff more often. All the guilt is causing her to spoil him rotten. Marley is her baby and her lap is usually reserved for him.

I am happy to hear that all is well! Accidents happen....that is why they are called accidents. I dropped an Ibuprofen tablet on the floor one day and one of my pups scooped it up and off to the vet we went. I was horrified. I am always careful about medicines and stuff....it just happened...things like that DO happen even when we are careful!

That is SO true! Nothing is ever fool proof! We had to start putting everything up in a cabinet because our cats (who are still being trained on DON'T GET ON THE COUNTER!!!) swat things off for the dogs to get into!
