Do keep food going into him. Strained meat baby food works. Get a tiny spoon and spoon it into his mouth. Also Nutra Cal, STAT or Dyne liquid will help get him through. | |

| Okay so we are home now.....turns out as soon as we headed to the hospital appt. my vets office calls to let me know they figured out their scale was off about .5 a pound today.....don't know how that happens?! Anyways I was super pissed....to most dogs that isn't much so I guess it went unnoticed but to Knox that is a large amount of his body weight. However he did still lose half a pound which is NOT good. Me nor the second vet where impressed by how easily this mistake was made The other vet says he thinks Knox probably did something to hurt himself and that is why he is yelping and sore. Nothing broken or anything like that though thank goodness! He said to give him the pain medicine for the next 5 days and baby him alot. (which I always do) He doesn't think it is teeth related and I feel more comfortable with his diagnoses. I am making him some chicken broth and rice right now hoping he will be more comfortable eating it why he is feeling bad I am also going to keep giving him Nutri Cal just to be safe until he is back to his old self. I hope he feels better soon, I hate that he feels bad Thanks to all from Knox and I

YT Addict | om goodness....this is great news! I am sorry that Knox is feeling badly but very happy that it is nothing associated with the surgery. Goodness that scares me. It is unforgivable that your vet's office was that careless!! I really do wonder sometimes what the h*** is wrong with people?? Have you had this vet very long? Perhaps you should consider visiting the new one from now on.... Many hugs and belly rubs for your baby ♥

| I hope Knox continues to do well. I'm glad he is eating again, too. Let us know how he does over the next few days.
