| ![]() I've seen metal sutures been put in before, its to prevent them from licking. But oouwweee do they hurt when those suckers catch ur hand/arm. I surely wouldn't lick them either LOL |

| ![]() No, not metal sutures. That was the first pic I'd ever taken with my new cell phone so my settings were a bit off. She actually had the regular non-dissolving sutures, but yes they do appear a bit shiny. The vet removed them for us today and I don't think Bella even realized it. He was really fast and gentle with her.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | ![]() wow, didn't know vets still used those. I can't think of a time when i saw one of the vets i worked with use metal suture material for closing.
