Just make sure he is hydrated overnight and if he is still ill in the morning, I know you already know to get him to the vet. Check to be sure his gums are wet to the touch...if they are dry and sticky, he is getting dehydrated and I would get to the EC if that happens.
I hope it is just a passing little thing and he is better in the morning!

That's what I do per my vet except she recommended withholding food for only 12 hours. I have a big syringe and use to to give Lady Pedialite to prevent dehydration.

Then I slowly introduce bland food, just a spoonful at a time and wait 15-30 minutes in between to make sure it stays down.

Happy to report that Teddy improved today. No vomiting. He was sad and confused about not being given much to eat, but otherwise content and reasonably energetic for having an empty tummy.

Going to try giving him half of his breakfast in the morning.

OH NO! Sorry Teddy hasn't been feeling well, but I'm so glad he's showing improvement. Tell him he has to get better so mommy doesn't have to worry so much.

Thank you everyone for your concern and support. I gave Teddy a little more than half of his usual breakfast and his yogurt treat after his morning walk and he kept everything down. He was so happy to have his food again.

Looks like everything is back to normal. I believe this was a stress-related episode. He is such a sensitive boy and I think he was worried about mommy. I have been working on a big project, spent a day fighting tears for a dog hit by a car, and I have been away from home more than usual. Although Teddy and Max have their grandpa as a doggysitter, Dad told me that Teddy spends a lot of time waiting at the door for me.

Can't fool these little guys with a happy face. They are very perceptive about their humans' feelings.

I'm so happy Teddy's feeling better!! These little guys still amaze me with how much they can sense. Gotta love them.

Glad to hear that your baby is better. It's really amazing how our pets can sense when we're upset. A good reason to work out our stresses rather than letting them build up, I suppose.
