| Thank you for posting the pictures of Mylee. I just dropped my Stoli off to get the FHO surgery and did not know what to expect. I hope your puppy is doing well. |

| Jess, welcome to YT. I hope your baby's surgery went well too. Mylee goes in for her staples to be removed tomorrow morning. I am anxious to see what he thinks. I don't think she is progressing like she should but we will see.

| Oh, I am SO sure she is feeling better. Avascular necrosis is very painful. I still catch myself expecting overnight success when I have pups who have surgery. I have a little one now, Heidi, who had surgery on her knee eight weeks ago. She is still limping. I have to remind myself that she is only a tiny little thing and she was so used to carrying that leg and getting around just fine that it is habit. In time she will begin to use it. Rookie, one of my other fosters, is a perfect example. He came to me last October with a fractured leg that had been uncared for for six months. He had surgery to repair it and it is only recently that I have begun to notice that he no longer picks that leg up when running! I remember the vet telling me it could take as long as a year for him to regain full use.
