| need some help Sorry to be so blunt but truing to figure out what to do. I think Hot Rod is constipated. Long story short, we went away for the weekend so their schedule was interupted. He's been kinda shakey on and off all day. Well, i took hom to potty on the pad in the garage and he sat down 2x after sqatting. I put him in a warm bath for about 5 min also. I know that he does not like pumpkin at all. What else can I do? Thanks in advance for you help.

I've given mashed sweet potato in with food along with a few drops of milk, once to a foster when she hadn't pooped for the 2nd day after her spay surgery. It worked for her....but if Hot Rod won't eat, IDK?

| Take his temperature with a very well lubricated thermometer. Use EXTRA lube and be extra gentle (heck I know you would, so that goes without saying). If that doesn't work, then try a very small amount of a baby fleet enema. Just a teeny tiny bit - very gently. |

| Green beans work for mine... Warm up the enema in hot water for a few minutes and shake it to eliminate hot spots.... Check his anals glands too.

I have mixed sweet potato in but just for a treat, didn't know it would help with pooling.

| Hubby took him out late last night and he tried to poo. Hubby couldn't tell but he thinks he pooed a little. Hot Rod did manage a couple of pieces of "sweet potato fries" treat that I had picked up the obedience day from Petsmart. We just got back from our morning walk and he was more active but no but no pop. I'm thinking hat he must have been able to poo a little last night. Yay!, let's hope.

| I thought I read somewhere that sprinkle a littlebbit of bran on food was okay and was actually going to try that but had since he was always so regular. You were able to set a clock by him, lol.

I was trying to stimulate his butt area when I had him in the tub. Maybe he did go when he went out last night.

| Bias glands were just done a couple of weeks ago. I usually do give green beans and other veggies for treats but with corn on the cob, cukes and tomatoes being in season, that's what we have been having pretty much. I guess I will get some bags of frozen beans and peas to have on hand. Thanks. He and hobby loves peas - yuck! Lol
