Tia was only 8 oz when I adopted her and just about a pound when she started her medication. I had to go to a specialty pharmacy for both Ally and Tia's medication because they are so small (Ally is just 3 lbs). The medication does make them not want to eat and you have to give it with food. I've been trying everything to get them to eat so I can give them their meds and get their nutrition. I basically cooked a lot of chicken. Good luck and don't give up.

Everyone has given you great advice. The only thing I don't see emphasized is the treatment of the environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL TREATMENT
The problem with decontaminating the environment is that very few products are effective. Bleach diluted 1:10 will kill 80% of fungal spores with one application and any surface that can be bleached, should be bleached. Vigorous vacuuming and steam cleaning of carpets will help remove spores and, of course, vacuum bags should be discarded. To reduce environmental contamination, infected cats should be confined to one room until they have cultured negative. The rest of the house can be disinfected during this confinement period. Cultures are done monthly during the course of treatment.
