| Bo has tapeworms My poor Bo has tapeworms Went to the vet yesterday to get him medicine. I gave it to him last night. I noticed today he is pooping more than usual. Its not runny just a little mushy than normal. He ate breakfast, but didn't want supper. I asked the secretary at the vet yesterday if there is any side effects. She said no. Would the med. be doing this?

| I googled it and it said uncommon side effects runny poops, vomiting, lethargic. He isn't what you would call sick, just not his playful self. The only thing that changed was I give him medicine. I know he needed it I was just curious. I am always cautious on any kind of med. they get.

| I don't know what meds mine had for worms and I don't remember any side effects. I am glad to hear your little one is doing better though. Hope tomorrow is an even better day for you.

| Sorry to hear poor little guy had tapeworms. Sissy had them when we first got her. She was very skinny. Once we has her dewormed she began to gain weight. She still ate the same amount but gained weight-those nasty tapeworms had been getting all the nutrition. Her poop was soft after the medication also but firmed back up in a few days.
