Ellie is very sick today
 
Her pancreas and/or intestines aren't doing well at all. :(
She has had a ton of vomiting and diarrhea today.
She's pretty weak/lethargic and I just hope she comes through it as well this time as she usually does. She doesn't normally get this way with pancreatitis although it is a sign. We will likely be treating for malabsorption related to exocrine pancreatitic insufficiency (without a positive TLI). It came back negative last year, but some things have changed. And it won't hurt (and could help) to try.

I've never really seen her this sick (beyond a ten minute vaccine reaction...). I'm very, very concerned about her today.

Sending prayers for Ellie. I really hope she feels better soon. I breaks my heart to read these posts where someones baby is sick. Feel better soon pretty little Ellie.

I'm sorry to hear Ellie May is so sick, I know it can be very scary with pancreatitis. Wishing her a quick recovery and you some relief from worry, Crystal!

I'm so sorry that Ellie is so ill. Poor baby. I will pray for both Ellie and you. It is so hard to see our little ones sick. Hugs to you!

Thanks everyone.

She is feeling better today (not nearly so lethargic).
She isn't throwing up anymore (thanks to Cerenia).
She stills has diarrhea...pure liquid.

She seems to be a very sick little girl right now and I'm not really sure how much we can do to help her. We have changed diet a lot to see what does and does not work. Now she is on 1% fat. We obviously can't lower that anymore. Larger meals may be setting it off, but we aren't usually here enough to feed her I'm more than 3x daily. I'll likely have to get up during the night for an extra feeding.

She's starving now and can't really eat today and we're pretty upset.
We took turns staying up with her and then she was okay this am to be up alone...

I'm somewhat concerned for her life at the moment. If this drug works, we will be so relieved. If it doesn't and we have to do more testing, God only knows what we will find.

wow so sorry - have you run a recent TLI? as I see it was negative a year ago but may be time to retest that as dd thyroid dropped from .78 to .38 in a year so it can happen

poor thing - how old is she C?

Has she been on digestive enzymes ever? This may help her to digest her food better with all her pancreas issues. If not then I would give this a shot

We like the idea of retesting except for the price. Anyway, the results don't matter now. We are trying the enzymes either way.

She will be 9 in July.

She has never been on enzymes, but will be now. We are going straight to the porcine pancreas powder.

ok I sure hope it works for her and helps her feel better as I know how stressful it is on you and her going through this :(
