| Sully - my sisters rescue Little guy started coughing last night at 6pm....this morning they took him to their vet she said he had a partially collapsed trach, got meds and sent him home. My sis called me to tell me what was going on and I could hear Sully coughing...it was so harsh! They took him back to the vet when the sedated him and kept him. He was sleeping and wheezing. When they to get him he was worse so off they went to the emergency clinic...Sherry called and he sounded so weak. PLEASE say a prayer for Sully. My sis and her hubby have given him so much love...they would be destroyed if he didn't make it.

| I am so sorry that Sully is so sick. LadyJane had Ozzy with CT so maybe she can give you a little encouragement. I do know that when he became excited it would act up. It's just so hard when you hear then sound like that.

| Oh...I have a page from the Veterinary Manual that I can try to scan for you. It has wonderful information about CT treatments! My little foster, Ozzy, had a terrible CT. In the end, his heart did give out, but we were able to manage him quite well for some time. The one medication that I mention a lot is Lomotil. I would never have thought it would work, but it did! I had a friend who also had a CT pup and it also worked for her. They need to be kept calm and cool. I found that the TX humidity was very hard on Ozzy. I hope that Sully will continue to improve and make it back home! I will say prayers. If you want a copy of that information, PM me with your email address.

| RIP Sully I'm extremely sad to say that Sherry just sent an email to let us know that Sully went to the Rainbow Bridge. His trach collapsed and his condition was not good enough to do surgery. Sully came to them about a year and a half ago as a rescue from a puppy mill. They were told that he didn't like men. He immediately became his Dad's shadow. His 'sister' Chloe loved him unconditionally. They slept almost on top of each other. My heart is broken for them.... RIP Sully

| Elisabeth I am so sad to hear the news about Sully. Your sister and her husband sound like wonderful people who loved their little guy so much. Please send a hug to her from me for all that they did to make his life all that it should have been.

| Elizabeth, I am so terribly sorry. Please give our condolences to your sister and her husband. Tell them that God has a very special place for those who love these little rescues like Sully. It isn't always the quantity of time they are with us but the quality of that time. God bless and comfort them. RIP sweet Sully.
