| RIP Pierre Natalie: I am so very sorry to hear of the sudden and very sad passing of your dearly beloved friend. I do understand and feel deeply for you having suddenly lost my little one a year ago. The pain and emptiness do not go away and the little dears are always in our hearts. Every little thing triggers the tears, but they do lessen with time and we can sort-of function again. I found great comfort in the Pet Bereavement section of I-Village, where everyone is so supportive long after the sad event happens. YT pet lovers are also very comforting, and I was helped a lot by them too. We pet lovers understand and rally around when these events strike, unlike some out here who do not understand our relationship with pets. They think we can 'get over it' in weeks, but we know different. I send my prayers and condolences and wish you peace from the misery of the loss. This will come when you are ready and the acute mourning period lessens. You are not alone. God Bless you and dear Pierre, who is frolicking over the Rainbow Bridge and looking lovingly down at you. |

It is so heartbreaking to hear about Pierre and I am so sorry. Like you, I find myself crying when reading about your loss. I don't know how many people would experience the joy of having a pet in their lives if they thought he/she would be taken so soon. I still feel grief for the wonderful pets I loved so much who've passed, but I'm also grateful for the time I had with them. Hopefully you will get to the place soon where you remember how much Pierre made you laugh. And remember that no matter what kind of day it was, how much better he made you feel with his joyful greeting. Even through tears, he can probably make you smile when you remember some of the sweet things he use to do, and how much he loved you. Even though our pets are with us for way, way too short a period of time no matter how long they live, we're really blessed for having them in our lives. Pierre's pictures are so adorable. I love the one of the two of you, his love for you shines. He is also too cute in that basket on the bike. He obviously had a great life.

| Natalie *HUG* The loss of your precious Pierre is so heartbreaking and I feel so utterly heartsick for you. What a darling yorkie he was and was so lucky to have you to love. I can't imagine waking up and my babies not being here. I'm so very sorry. Words just cannot express at a tragic time like this. I'm so glad you have a loving and supportive family, and your brother's tribute was beautiful. I sent heartfelt sympathy to you and lots of hugs.

| I'm so very, very sorry. I know what you are going through as I lost my baby Sam on the 8th. Sam was a little old guy, nearly 16 and I'm sure he will have taken your little Pierre under his wing and is taking great care of him. Last edited by Kayceeh; 05-12-2010 at 12:46 PM. |

This is very very hard. Today is definitely better than yesterday. I had to force myself to hold back the tears. I actually put mascara on today! My aunt is very spiritual and she never met Pierre. SHe told me that she had a dream last night that she saw Pierre and she was talkign to him. She asked him why he had to leave me. He told her that he didnt mean to and he doesnt know why ( That completely broke my heart. He was so young. He had so much life left in him to live. But I am thankful that I Had the time I did with him. I wouldnt take it back for ANYTHING in the world. I am going to get a tattoo in memory of him. I Know tattoos are not for everyone. The tattoos that I do have are ones that have special meaning. I want to remember Pierre each and every day for the rest of my life. My poor little angel boy. Thank you again for all of your support. <3 | |

| It is never easy to say a final good bye to a pet that has been so close in our lives. Remember our little furbabies with a smile that they always put on our face. Sending a hug. I found the following poem that helped me on the second anniversary of Harley, DJ and Annie leaving us and crossing over the Rainbow Bridge. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...j-annie-v.html
