| Carlo was operated on at 6:00 am, and the surgery went about 80 minutes. They removedabout 15" of the lower intestine, and the growth. He came thru just fine, They also pulled some grass out of his stomach with a tube. They did not find any other groeths inside. Closed him up with stitches inside, and staples outside. All of his vitals are fine, and he woke up and was actually standing. I got there at 5 am, and just got home a few minutes ago. Marge and I will go and visit him at lunch time, and then again tonight during visiting hours. BEst case, he will be released on Sunday. They send out the parts they removed to the lab and we will know more in about 5 more days. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts. That is a sled he was pulling. When we were out in AZ, he was a Champion Weight puller. They pulled sleds either on wheels or skids, and usually they were loaded with bricks or metal. When he was young, he was a beast....but in a good way. |
