I am so sorry, prayers for Carlo and your family. |
Steve - we have never been formally (or informally for that matter) introduced but I've read several of your posts here on YT. In reading your posts, I feel that I have come to know you to some degree. I am so sorry to hear about Carlo. He is truly a beautiful boy and I do hope all goes well and that the veterinarian was able to remove all of the diseased tissue/mass. I will be praying for you, your family and for Carlo's speedy recovery. |
Praying for Carlo. |
You and Carlo will be in my thoughts. My cat had cancer surgery at 14 and at 18 just got a clean bill of health from the vet... there is always hope... just remember to keep a positive outlook and treasure everyday! :animal-pa |
Oh Steve :( - so sorry Carlo is going through this. Please keep us updated as you can. My thoughts are coming your way and I sure hope we will see a positive update for Carlo. |
Sending prayers to your entire family... Prayers for a speedy recovery for Carlo...keep us posted |
2 Attachment(s) Folks, you guys are the best. I just got off the phone with the Aninal Hospital, and he is resting comforably, and it will be a real early operation. They said it will take about 1 1/2 hours. I will let you all know tomorrow. He is one strong dog, and if anyone can recover, he can. He has a great Surgeon, and a lot of people pulling for him. Even little Maxine knows something is up. She is not in the mood to paly, and is just laying on his bed in the corner of the family room. She has never done that before. Never that bed, although she has laid on his bed in the bedroom. I know my post might have not made a lot of sense. He will be operated on tomorrow. They had to knock him out today late in the afternoon to get a good Ultra Sound as he is a strong dog and they could not keep him still. |
I'm so sorry to read this. I really, really hope it isn't cancer and that they can get that mass out of him, so he can come home and be your buddy again! |
Awwww, he is so handsome! Is he brown, or does he have a bit of brindle? He will stay in my thoughts. So glad to hear he is comfortable :). |
He is brindle. He still is a show stopper when out in public, and we have both grayed up real nice! It still gets my wife mad when we are out with him, and some lady will say "what a beautiful boy". I always say "thank you", and my dog also looks quite nice! She just walks away with Maxine shaking her head! Thanks again. |
Thank you Steve for the update, that's good Carlo is resting comfortably, sounds like he has the best of care. That is so sad about Maxine, she misses her buddy. He is a gorgeous boy, very impressive! My prayers and thoughts continue to be with you all. |
I am so sorry to hear of Carlo's serious illness. I will pray for him, and also for you and your wife. I hope the cancer has not spread and they can get it all. Hugs and best wishes to you and yours! |
