Any news from Carlo's dad? | His real Dad passed away a few years back, so I will reply. Carlo is doing fantastic today. It is hard to actually keep him less active. Had to put the gate up leading to the 2nd level, as he would be running up there. He is very alert, eating well, drinking his water, taking his antibiotic, and nothing for pain since day 3 when I pulled of his 2 large pain patches. His tail is wagging, and he is chewing on his huge hard bones. He goes in Monday to have the staples removed, and within the next 5 days the results from a test ordered today will be in, telling us exactly what type of cancer. At first the Surgeon said Mast Cell, but the results that came back eliminated that, and now he is saying some type of Lymphoma. Once that is in, we will meet with the Oncologist and plan a course of action to keep the big guy around longer and keep his quality of life good. He is a strong dog. Still acts like a pup except last week when it all started.
Will keep you updated. |
