Yep...she said he said that the first time he saw her...YET she was posting all over the place asking for money for the surgery. Confusing? Yes. Very.

The last few pages of this thread is shedding some light on some suspicions I started to have yesterday and I am started to feel slightly nauseous. All I can say, is that I hope SOMEBODY gets the help they need.

Yeah....well from what I am hearing, a lay person is now treating the pup without ANY vet records or anything.

It never ceases to amaze me how people will enable others to do the wrong things. I believe it is people who need an ego boost....they have to be looked upon as heroes.

Nothing any of us can do. This woman will continue to seek out people who will enable her to do what she does....and those who will donate to her. Heaven only knows where the money is going; but it will not be mine. I am fairly free with money for a good cause, but it needs to be a verified legitimate and worthwhile cause. Not one that is causing an animal to suffer.

She is still around 6lbs. I go back on Monday for b12 shot and they will weigh her.

OMG, I WAS NOT GOING TO POST HERE ANYMORE BUT I READ THROUGH THESE LAST FEW PAGES AND OMG..
1. i have never gotten any donations for roriee.. i asked for them when she was first diagnosised and 2 personal friends of mine offered me about 125.. i never took their money.
2. roriee has not been in pain the last few months in fact she was doing absolutly wonderful and i forgot to take down the website.
3. what is a lay person? she is being treated by her vet and yes he is licensed in the state of GA
4. she has been under his care the whole time and he is the one who sent me to ga vet hospital and then ga vet specialists
5. those first photos i took were at his office when i didnt know what was wrong with her and everything i read about the shunt didnt fit her body being twisted and i was trying to find out what was wrong with her.
6. she was out of pain for months until she had her relapsse.. she was walking, running but i would not let her jump and i kept a collar on her just to protect her.
7. as for personal pm's that were supposed to be sent back in nov 09. either you never sent them or i didnt see them. i would not ignore them if i knew about them.
i am sick and tired of having to justify myself to all of you.. you have judged me and taken words out of context, made up stuff and literally made me not trust you. now i seriously would not trust you and she is better but still sick.. she has a long road but she is being treated.. omg i dont know where all of you get your information.. either you skim over what i write or because i have been very upset i typed wrong but i seriously think some of you love to start drama.. it takes away from the pup.
my friends and family and the girl who sold me roriee know that i have taken very good loving care of her and she would not have gotten so much better if i had not.

i am working with her vet and olga.. the vet first thought she had the shunt but when her test came back she was elevated but not in the shunt range. that is why olga helps me with her diet and supplements to give her.

i swear this time i am really gone from this site.. i have sat here and read all these posts and i am beyond shocked that grown women would take such a sad day and turn it into a circus to have everyone so upset..

roriee is the love of my life and i am going to give her a chance to heal.. she healed the last time and she is showing signs of improvment already. everyone knows that AAI is complete crate rest until the scar tissue has a chance to reform and protect her neck. and for the person that thinks i am lieing about having my own health issues is not a person i would ever want to meet.

I said that you are taking care of YOUR health issues and not hers. And I stand by that.

What do you mean you are working with your vet and Olga? Is she a vet, too? I am confused I guess. And she is in MI ? I guess I will just remain confused about this.

When you are ready to get the real help she needs, I would suggest contacting a rescue in your area. Those of us in rescue would be more than happy to assist you in that.

she sees her vet and i talk to olga about the supplements and her diet.. my vet wrote the perscription for her food that i get that cannot be bought without one.

No money. Sick with own health problems. But, you're going to try to heal the dog -- I guess with Pedialyte and Olga? And crate rest?

I dont think anyone took your posts out of context - we read YOUR words. The ones where YOU said your dog was SCREAMING.

This sounds like a painful death sentence for this pup, I hope you reconsider. If she is the love of your life, you will.

Look I dont have an agenda here. Im not even well liked. Ive been thru the trial and tribulations. I am speaking as a lone voice with the best intentions I can promise you this.
This is just a yorkie forum people get crazy with worry. They love dogs. FOr some it is their life.

I know I am just preaching to the choir...

First of all I am so sorry about Roriee and her health issues. She has sure been through a rough time in her short life. I commend you for coming here to ask for advise.

However, really sit down and think about this...you want her to "heal" again like she did last time. Well she didn't REALLY...because in only 5 months she is sick again. As hard as it is to think about this and accept it, Roriee has a very serious disease and although the symptoms may be stifled at times, it is only going to continue to resurface. There is only one solution for her to live out a semi-normal life, and that is to have the surgery. If there is absolutely no way you can afford it, and you have exhausted all options, then please think about the right thing to do for HER. It may not be the easiest thing to do, but if she is hurting and in pain, you may have to make the ultimate sacrifice and give her to someone who can afford the surgery and help her live a normal life. I know she is your heart, your love, and I can understand that. I know how it feels to be so close to an animal that you can literally feel their pain...but I also know that if I were faced with this situation, I would have to do what was right for my baby and let them have the surgery, even if that meant letting her go.

Again I hope you will read this and really think about everything. Please don't think that the people here are trying to be mean to you, they are only truly concerned about Roriee, and because these are the most dedicated Yorkie advocates, they have such STRONG emotions about one that they see in a difficult situation.
