Neither have I, but Roriee is in wonderful hands and I know along with the Specialists are going to do the best by her.

I was going to post the preliminary test results that were just called to me; but I think it is best to not do that at this point. It will just make people do some more guessing.

Roriee is in the hands of a competent veterinarian; and when all tests are completed we will have the whole picture. He will use his objective and subjective information to come to a proper diagnosis.

I will then post all of this...I just don't like to see people trying to diagnose this and/or guess what she has online. :( All I can say is this is a very, very sick little girl. :( :( :(

Gosh I hope they get all info soon as this baby has suffered way too long.

I think u are making a wise decision to wait for the total info. We can be patient as we hope and prayer for Roriee

Glad to hear that this baby is getting all the tests done that she needs and is in a vets care... I will now focus my thoughts on prayers are her recovery process.. kudos to all of those who helped Roriee on her journey :)

That is a wise idea. She's in the hands of Specialists and it's not up to us as amateur vets to 2nd guess them.

Yes, because what is going on with her is depressing enough without trying to second guess it all. She has multiple issues and I am praying that they are fixable ones.

Dear God...please give Roriee and her doctors the tools, knowledge and compassion to make the right diagnosis. And please keep her safe and comfortable until we have all the results.

heart wrenching! absolutely shouldn't be like this. I hope that people who follow this post that aren't experienced with small dogs and health issues, will not "wait and see" when their dog is sick ( I'm not saying OP did that) But in this instance this dog should have had today's care months ago and although there is nothing any of us can do about that. I hope all of us learn a little something from this dog's... err... no... this puppy's misfortune and make those critical decisions sooner for the sake of the dog!
I will be praying roriee makes a full recovery and can live a happy and normal life in a household that is worthy of her puppy love.

I agree we can learn sadly from a dogs misfortune and i think we have learned sadly lately a few things and one being neck pain is serious so i hope when others are helping with sick and injured when you see neck pain issues you will direct these owners to a neurologist immediately which was done in this case

sadly we can only do so much in trying to help as we can only try to direct the owner in the right direction and the rest is up to the owner

My rule of thumb in Sick and Injured is to always suggest a vet. Even for simple sounding things. Sadly, many people post online because they are trying to avoid spending money and that can be deadly for a pup. One thing to advise someone who has been to a vet about how to help their pup and quite another to advise them when no diagnosis has been made. It is scary to me when I see that happen. Most people who post regularly don't do that...they do advise a vet.

Find a good vet, actially a great vet, develop a rapport, and get there ASAP if anything that you are unsure of pops up. We take ours in 2 times a year for check-up and blood panels, even then they are healthy as a 400 pound Boar with a nice set of cutters. Actually, I believe we take better care of the dogs than we do of ourselves. But thats ok. They are kids.
