Update!
 
The neurologist did obtain previous records on Roriee. They are proceding today with a MRI and spinal tap. They do believe there is more to this case than just AAI based on her neuro check.

Will update later when we hear something.

I don't think all tests have been completed. Let's be patient, Linda will inform us as more information becomes available.

These tests are usually done when Chiari is suspected.

Chari is more prevelant in the Chi Breed, and does happen in the Yorkie. I'm not familiar with medical problems that plague the Silkie. What one needs to realise is that when you cross breed, you run the risk of creating a situation such as this. Making it more difficult to identify how this problem was passed down.

But, then this discussion may be best discussed on it's own thread.

yep you can get the worse of all breed health issues in one dog when being done :(

sadly many owners do not get mri as too expensive so it is more prevalent than anyone realizes in toy breeds and sounds like scooter had it as well from reading his story :(

many vets diagnose as a brain tumor so owner refuses mri and puts dog down as not going to do chemo

Yes, it has. Linda and her rescue group have done a wonderful job.

I hope the rescue angels are getting some well deserved rest, but somehow I think that is not what is happening.:rolleyes:
