| Sophie Vomiting Since Last Night Sophie started vomiting last night after my husband took her out to pottie. He said he saw her eat something off the ground, but couldn't get to her fast enough to stop her. Whatever it was, she kept eating it even as he fussed and ran toward her! We thought it wasn't that much of a big deal, that whatever she ate just upset her stomach, but she threw up at least six more times throughout the night. I told him that I was bringing her to the vet this morning, but he said it was just her stomach, because she's eating and acting normal. Well, guess what? This morning she's still vomiting! I told him that I didn't think she would still be throwing up over something she ate over 12 hours ago, and called the vet this morning. They are supposed to call me when the doctor gets in. Any ideas what could be going on? Her diet hasn't changed at all, and nothing else in her routine either, other than what she may have picked up from outside. Still scary, since she's only 3.5 lbs.... Any ideas what's going on with my baby?

| I hope you figure what it might be. I know with the recent rains that we've had, we have 100's of worms on the driveway,YUK! I try to get them not eat them but they manage to sneak one or 2 in before we get into the garage. Also, the other day while we were walking around the yard, they started to eat bunny poo! Ugh! Do you think it might have been something like this? Hope Sophie feels better soon. Let us know how she's doing.

| Thanks for your concern. My husband investigated the area and the only thing that he saw that it may be is small baby crawfish???!!!! South Louisiana, and it's been raining!!! Uggh! She's napping on my lap right now since the vet hasn't called yet, but I'm about to call again! Will let you know -

| Two and a half hours since I called the vet's office. No call back. I called again, and he's still not in. I'm trying not to panic since she hasn't thrown up again. Feeding her nutrical, and very small bits of food, but still worried!!! She's napping, so I'll see.... I definitely want to bring her in since it's Friday.....

| Widget vomited for two days. spent 2 nights in the hospital and $500.00 later they never did discover what was wrong with him. He's all better now thank goodness, but he certainly had a bad week. |

| I do hope she will be fine. Since it has been awhile since she threw up last, perhaps you are at the end of it. Whatever it was she ate, it certainly did make her sick!

| Looks like she's better I think you're right. Since it's been a while since she's thrown up, looks like she's getting back to normal. Stopped at the vet's office during my lunch hour, and guess what? The vet is out with a virus! They checked her gums and a few other things, and said she is definitely not dehydrated. They weighed her while I was there, and she's a healthy 3.3 lbs! Go girl!~ It's been almost 4 1/2 hours since she last threw up, so they think it must have been whatever she ate outside! It's just hard to believe that it lasted all night long into this morning, but I guess it could happen! Thanks for all the concern!
