| I have not seen any ill side effects from Uni. Works like magic, next poop is almost back to 100% normal.

| Has anyone heard of giving peptobismol to the dog? The first time we were at the vet my husband said either the nurse or the vet said it can be used. |

Maybe call them and say you were wondering if you should give it to him.

| Your baby is such a pretty color, what color is she? I am ordering the diarsanyl she still has loose stool. I tried calling around all day to find it locally to go and buy but no luck. I am thinking of taking her back to banfield but I just feel they are over charging. Every single test they want to re-take they took less than a month ago. I also understand Giardia dog gets from standing water or bird droppings. I called an independent vet to ask how one gets it. This is impossible because my dog does not go outside yet. I know it not good but I'm trying to rule out what has happen so I won't be taken as a fool! The only possibility is he got a tiny piece of food on the floor I didn't see. Thanks for everyone help ! |

| One tiny bit of the wrong food can really do a number on these little guys. Once Uni ate a curry noodle that fell on the floor. It had a bunch of stuff that they aren't supposed to eat, garlic, onion, chilis, lots of salt, other spices, and I bet she only ate a tiny piece. Well the next day her whole mouth was covered in saliva and it would not stop dripping. The vet said it may have been an allergic reaction from something in the food, or she could have gotten into something toxic (ant killer, etc) which I don't think it was that. She was like this for a few days, and she had soft poop too, just from that one tiny piece of noodle. So you really do have to be very careful with these guys. Even when you are being super careful, they still get themselves into trouble sometimes. Anyway, if you order the diarsanyl from entirely pets they ship really fast. i usually get my stuff in 2 days.
