| ![]() I haven't been on YT for a while and don't always post on everything I read, but this is completely outrageous that something like this could have happened in the first place. It is obviously human error in not checking the dog's frequently to prevent such an occurrence as this from happening in the first place. Had the groomer failed to have kept his word to make good on paying for Chloe's care, not only would I have considered small claims court, but I would have gone to the media with this. I guarantee him seeing this on tv would cause him to sing a different tune. Plus, I'm sure his business would be affected by other pet owners being afraid to use his services for fear their dog might also come home seriously burned. Unfortunately, money is the guiding and motivating factor for most businesses. Not the love of the animal first and foremost. I wish Chloe to continue to heal as quickly as she has so far with no setbacks. For the seriousness of her burns, her recovery has been amazing.

| ![]() Sorry friends, it's been a very trying week...but this afternoon me and my youngest BT (gator swimmer, GiGi) met with Chloe and her mom and had a nice walk. A great play date. Enclosed are some recent pics and some of those when Chloe was first burned - you can see the miracle that occurred. I am so amazed...Chloe is back to normal and so enjoyed her walk with GiGi - last time they met....Chloe was apprehensive and shy. However, today, because of all she has been thru ...she isn't afraid of anyone, anything, any dog :-) Last edited by 3TerrorsMom; 03-20-2010 at 07:13 PM. | ![]() I just now found this thread and I am sick to my stomach like everyone else. I have never heard of a cage dryer before and never even knew they did this at groomers. I just assumed he was hand dried. The last time I picked up Zeus from the groomers he had these red marks on his belly. I asked the groomer about it and he said he had no idea what they were or what caused them. Not I am wondering if a cage dryer was used and it got to warm for him. I know now thanks to this thread to ask about this on my next visit. Thanks for the info! I am glad to see Chloe is healing. Zeus sends her get well kisses. ![]() |
